Wen Liou, M.D. sees himself as a little bit of a Boy Scout. “I just want to do what I can to help people,” he says. It’s what drew him to his career as a pediatrician and sustains his drive to provide the best possible care for his patients after nearly two decades in private practice. With his warm demeanor and approachable style, Dr. Liou quickly establishes an easy rapport with his patients and families. “I enjoy running into my patients out in the community,” he says. “The families I see become like friends.” Dr. Liou earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport and completed his residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. He is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Liou has a special interest in parent education and well visits. “Education is vital to my goal of seeing my young patients grow into healthy adults.”
