Helgemo & Liou Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of Karlie Sweiderk, Physician Assistant. Karlie grew up in New Jersey and has called Florida home for the past 10 years. After graduating from Lemon Bay High School, she attended Lynn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then continued her education at South University, earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people’s lives inspired her to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant at a young age. Karlie says, “Growing up in a large family and helping care for my younger siblings fostered a love for working with children that has remained with me throughout my life. My experiences as a summer and winter camp counselor, along with volunteering in my church’s children’s ministry, further strengthened my commitment to supporting and caring for children and their families. I was drawn to the PA profession because it allowed me to combine my passion for medicine with my dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
